The moment I stepped inside California Horizon the staff made me feel safe. Even though I was out of mind at the time , no one treated me that way. The staff was very supportive on my journey to sobriety and can relate having experience themselves. Which I found comforting. I learned so many things about myself in groups and was able to share personal struggles privately with a therapist. The motorbike outings at the beach was a blast. Laughing and goofing around with other clients, I felt happiness again. Outside meetings every night was cool . I never felt locked up. Chefs cooking was amazing and if I wanted something special, she made it happen. Chocolates! Loved this place and recommend California Horizon to anyone that needs a safe dedicated place to heal and start a new journey into sobriety! ❤️🙏
